When we were practicing today, the teachers got all mad because I wasn't reading it correctly or something, so this is my question.. I don't really go to church, and I got picked to read the responsorial psalms. For example, a common Responsorial Psalm for a Catholic funeral is Psalm 23. If only 2 readers are possible, I think I have seen it most often done that the first reader recites the Psalm. Above all the psalms sing of faith in God, of revelation and redemption. The accompaniment is piano-only (played by students) and the cantors (usually SATB but sometimes SSAA) are also students. However, it is hoped that some will find these lessons useful. As time goes on, the lessons will be expanded upon, with even more examples being included.
