While I was researching The Four seasons, the beautiful melody and themes entranced me. Two quick-tempo outer movements frame a central slow-tempo movement. A prose translation of the original Italian is provided below. But none were to do so in such precise pictorial detail as Antonio Vivaldi in his Four Seasons concertos.
