I remember my younger self always feeling comfortable, confident even, presenting in front of groups. In music, all of the beauty is contained in the silences between the notes. While the 75% figure includes everyone from people who just experience a slight nervousness to those who become paralyzed by fear, it’s an important issue — especially if your career depends on you being able to communicate seamlessly in front of large groups. Fear of public speaking is the most common of all phobias. So I have no idea when that all changed. I would never have imagined myself ever speaking in front of a few people, but a crowd of people, you're crazy.

If you become famous with public speaking, sure, charge. It takes time to develop your speaking skills, and you will wobble initially. It's a form of performance anxiety in which a person becomes very concerned that he or she will look visibly anxious, maybe even have a panic attack while speaking. Public speaking hasn’t always been plain sailing for us. Over time, people try to protect themselves by either avoiding public speaking or by struggling against speech anxiety. My answer here is controversial, but yes. But somewhere along the way from school to adulthood, it did.
